LES TITFORD (t/a Daddy Long Les) TERMS OF USE
These terms of use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Daddy Long Les in respect of your use of my intellectual property (printed music, tutorials, videos, audio files, instructions, logo) contained in my shared Dropbox folders, my website daddylongles.com and my YouTube channel (all online sites above are referred to by the term “websites” hereinafter). By accessing or using these resources, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, I do not grant you permission to use my resources.
The General Terms below shall apply in all circumstances to your use of my websites, folders and resources.
GENERAL TERMS
1. Use of Dropbox Resources
By registering to use my resources, you will have access to a range of information. If you are provided with links, passwords or any other pieces of information as part of accessing my intellectual property, you must treat such information as confidential and you must not disclose it to any third party. It is for your personal use only. I may disable any user access or password at any time if, in my opinion, you have failed to comply with this term.
2. Permitted Use and Restrictions
Subject to you agreeing to abide by these Terms, I grant you the right and access to use my online resources. I reserve all other rights which are not granted in these Terms. You may view, use and display the digital content for your personal purposes only and as otherwise intended by these Terms. I may revoke the permission and/or rights granted in these Terms at any time without notice and with or without cause.
You must not use the digital content: (a) in any unlawful manner, for any unlawful purpose or to act fraudulently or maliciously, for example, by hacking into or inserting malicious code, including viruses or harmful data, into the my websites or any operating system used by the websites; (b) in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or compromise systems or security or interfere with other users;
3. Accessing my digital intellectual property and online folders.
I do not guarantee that my websites, or any content on them, will always be available or uninterrupted. This is dependent upon third parties over which I have no control.
I do not guarantee that my websites will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access my websites. You should use your own virus protection software.
You must ensure that the equipment used to access the websites is suitable for the purpose. You acknowledge and accept that I cannot be held responsible for any technical problems you encounter while visiting my websites.
4. Intellectual property rights
I am the owner of all intellectual property rights in my websites and in the material published on them. All such rights are reserved. Except as set out in these Terms, the content of my websites may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed or otherwise exploited for any purposes whatsoever without my prior written consent.
Some materials available on my sites require an online payment for their use. I reserve the right to alter prices for such materials at any time.
5. Privacy
For details on how we use personal information, see my privacy policy. By agreeing to these Terms, you are also agreeing to the processing of your personal information as explained in the privacy policy.
6. Links to and from my websites
You may link to my homepage, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage or take advantage of my reputation. You may not frame or deep link this website. The website from which you are linking must comply in all respects with applicable laws. You must not establish a link in such a manner that suggests endorsement, association or approval on my part where none exists.
7. Termination
I may terminate these Terms and your permission to use the websites immediately if: (a) you commit any breach of these Terms; (b) I discontinue the websites; or (c) I am prevented from providing the websites for any reason, or for any other reason as I see fit. Furthermore, I reserve the right to change, edit, suspend, delete and/or cancel any part of the websites (and/ or your access to it) at any time with or without notice to you.
On termination of these Terms for any reason: (a) all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease; (b) you must immediately cease all activities authorised by these Terms; and (c) you acknowledge that I may restrict your access to the websites.
When your use of the websites ceases, any provision of these Terms that expressly or by implication is intended to come into or continue in force on or after termination shall remain in full force and effect.
8. Jurisdiction and applicable law
These terms of use, their subject matter and their formation are governed by English law. If you are a consumer, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction (except that residents of Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in Scotland).
9. Changes
I reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time by amending this page and your continued use of the websites after any such amendments are published on the websites will be considered acceptance by you of such amended Terms. Updated terms will supersede all previous versions of the Terms. Please check this page regularly to take notice of any changes I have made, as they are binding on you. The date these Terms were last updated appears at the bottom.
